I have been practising in the area since January 2003 and have lived here since 2000. Prior to that I lived in West London. I have a wonderful husband and two engaging teenage boys and an equally engaging dog called Lucky! They all often act as my receptionist, particularly Lucky!
I have a special interest in helping cancer patients cope better with their symptoms and conventional treatment side effects. I have a year's experience working within the NHS at Burton Hospital Oncology Department providing a homeopathic service to help patients adhere to drugs such as Tamoxifen by lessening the side effects with remedies. A truly COMPLEMENTARY service. I also have a special interest in treating baby's, young children and pregnant mothers.
I also like to pass on to interested patients and members of the public my experience at treating acute and first aid situations with homeopathy by carrying out workshops. My aim for participants is for them to come away from the workshop with the confidence to self-prescribe or prescribe for their families in simple acute and first aid situations. If you would like to find out more then please do not hesitate to contact me.
I am also available for talks to interested groups such as health charities, WIs, etc. If you are looking for a speaker then please do not hesitate to contact me.
I carried out my original homeopathic training at the College of Homeopathy in London. Prior to that I spent 10 years working in Human Resource Management. I became convinced about homeopathy after successful treatment of both myself and my children. Now I am committed to ongoing CPD (Continuing Professional Development) and regularly attend workshops and seminars to enhance the service that I provide to clients. In addition, I am under regular supervision and am an active member of the Leicestershire Homeopathic Support Group.
I am a registered member of the Society of Homeopaths and practice according to their Code of Ethics. The Society of Homeopaths is the largest organisation representing professional Homeopaths in the UK. As a member of the Society I am covered by full professional insurance. I am on a voluntary register that has been accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
