Homeopathy in Derbyshire and Leicestershire
Welcome to Homeopathy and the Website for Helen Saunders, Registered Homeopath.
Homeopathy is a Safe, Gentle and Natural Medicine for all ages. It has gained an increasingly high profile over the last decade but is no newcomer to the health scene, since its history dates back over 250 years.
Who Can I treat?Homeopathy is a complementary therapy that focuses on the individual rather than the condition that they are suffering and because of this can treat most conditions, both common and rare. It is also a gentle but effective therapy, making it suitable for all age groups. Homeopathy has an excellent track record at treating people with conditions such as Arthritis, Asthma, Depression, Eczema, Hayfever, Insomnia, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Migraines, Sinusitis ....
It is also helpful in transitional periods such as the menopause (it can provide a natural and effective alternative to HRT) and life changing situations such as pregnancy and childbirth. Because the medicines are safe, non-toxic and non-habit forming even very small babies can be treated for such things as failure to feed, indigestion, colic and cradle cap.
But you do not have to have a diagnosed condition to come and see a Homeopath. It can also help at those times when your doctor cannot find anything "physically wrong with you" but you just don't feel yourself. Here homeopathy has much to offer.

Where do I practice?I practice at four locations: The Bridge Centre for Natural Health in Derby (to visit the centre's website just

Click here) and at Station House, Station Road, Melbourne, Derbyshire. For full addresses and availability at each practice location please visit the Testimonials, Fees and Practice Locations page.
But if you are unable to get to those locations because your illness restricts travel I do make home visits.
I have been practising in the area since January 2003.
A Bit About MeI carried out my original homeopathic training at the College of Homeopathy in London. Prior to that I spent 10 years working in Human Resource Management. I became convinced of the efficacy of homeopathy after successful treatment of both myself and my children. Now I am committed to ongoing CPD (Continuing Professional Development) and regularly attend workshops and seminars to enhance the service that I provide to clients. In addition, I am under regular supervision and am an active member of the Leicestershire Homeopathic Support Group.
I am a registered member of the Society of Homeopaths (To visit the Society's website just
Clicking here)and practice according to their Code of Ethics. The Society of Homeopaths is the largest organisation representing professional Homeopaths in the UK.
